ABU DHABI TOUR CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP
At each Abu Dhabi Tour Challenge the winners (men + women) will be awarded with a Challenge Jersey.
In addition the first 15th riders in the classification earn points in an overall GENERAL RANKING as per the following scheme:

The Abu Dhabi Tour Challenge overall champion (man and woman) is the rider that collects more points across the 3 Challenges, and he/she is awarded with the champion red Jersey and a special trophy.
In the event of a tie, the winner is the one with the best time at the ITT.
SPECIAL CLASSIFICATION
Per each challenge there are 3 different special classifications:
- 2ND Feb - King of the Mountain, Al Ain ( CLIMB )
Best time climbing Jebel Hafeet - 11TH Feb - Man of 1 Km, YMC ( ITT )
Best time on the long straight of 1 Km ( West grandstand) - 20TH Feb - Intermediate Sprint, YMC ( KNOCKOUT )
Intermediate sprint at the second-last lap of the race.
The winner of each special classification wins 3 points valid for the general ranking and will be awarded with a race Jersey on 20th Febraury in Yas Marina Circuit.
THE CLIMBE STAGE – Jebel Hafeet
2 distances: 47 km and 67 km (included the climbing). Only the cyclists that ride the long distance ( 67 Km ) earn points for the general classification.
The King of the Mountain is the rider who will achieve the best timing climbing the last 7 km up to the finish line. The best climber can be the rider of the 47 km or 67 Km cycle race.
THE INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIAL – Yas Marina Circuit
Individual Time Trial stage ( ITT ), : the riders can ride a maximum of 3 laps during which they are supppose to achieve their 1 lap fastest time.
The Man of 1K is the rider who will achieve the best timing of the 1km straight of Yas Marina Circuit ( west grandstand) .
THE KNOCKOUT – Yas Marina Circuit
Elimination stage. Cyclists have a precise time to finish the lap which is reduce at each new lap. Riders must complete the lap inside the fixed time otherwise they are eliminated. Only the last 2 laps are “free”. The winners are the ones cutting the finish line as first, second and third.
The Intermediate Sprint winner is the cyclist who will pass unders the finish arch of the second-last lap in first position.
