JOIN THE ABU DHABI TOUR ACTIVITIES AT THE ABU DHABI SPORTS FESTIVAL

Twice daily spinning classes, spinning trial sessions, KIDs Art Labs, cycling contests and quizzes: all on the menu for the Abu Dhabi Tour stand until August 5

Abu Dhabi20 July 2016 – With the Abu Dhabi Tour second edition on the horizon (from 20-23 October this year), the activities promoting the professional race are well underway: until August 5 at the Abu Dhabi Sports Festival, organised by Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC), people are invited to the pavilions of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC) to join the twice daily classes and receive the special Abu Dhabi Tour promotional T-shirt. 

Registration is online or directly on site and the classes run each day at 6.30pm and 8.30pm. They are free of charge, as are the 15-minute spinning trial sessions. These run from 5.00pm and are offered by the Abu Dhabi Tour team to encourage anyone who has never experienced spinning training to try it.

In addition to spinning classes, the KIDs Art Labs continue to engage children in drawing. All children's works will be exhibited at Abu Dhabi Tour ART at the Abu Dhabi Tour final stage on 23 October at the YAS Marina circuit grandstand and all have the chance to win a prize of a kid’s bike. The KIDs Art Labs are free of charge and no registration is required.

During breaks between activities, cycling contests and quizzes will also be held on the Abu Dhabi Tour stand with Tour promotional T-shirts as prizes..”

ABU DHABI FESTIVAL

Open daily from 10am - 10pm and organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the first-ever Abu Dhabi Sports Festival will focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle through ‘sport and active fitness’. The festival will include a number of various sport competitions. A wide range of disciplines are available including football, basketball, boxing, cycling and badminton alongside some less mainstream sports such as padel tennis, chess, in-line skating and rock wall climbing.
